I was fascinated by the one ice covered rock
The walkway has been added but most of the structure is origianl. Up until a couple of years ago the millwheel was still there.

Here's a shot of what happened after Eva got out of the kaleidoscope.

Seriously - I thought I'd enter this for the FM "End Of The Road" assignment, even though it would have no chance since it is an entirely put-together photo. What do you think?
This was taken from Chinamans Beach, Mosman.
A bit of surrealism...

i bought this glass sculpture of a Unicorn as a Birthday present for my wife many years ago. Since we live in Southern California we are subject to earthquakes so it is permanently affixed to the top of a shelf - making it very difficult to photograph properly. I had to surround it with black velvet and then using the available light from our ceiling fixtures in the den, I shot a very long exposure while "painting" it using a blue LED light. My submission for this week's Fred Miranda Assignment.

The Sopwith Camel on the left (single cylinder - note the little puffs of exhaust trailing behind) and the famous Red Baron's Fokker Triplane flying in formation in California's Death Valley during a once in a lifetime flower bloom.
A photo of a WW1 Sopwith Camel cruising over Death Valley in the Spring.

I thought I'd try pasting the extracted plane photo into a n old shot I had of the tallest mountain in the continental US - Mount Whitney.

Here's an interesting photo of trees and a beautiful sunset.
I'm told this is the only one of these planes still in flying condition.

A cute little plane with the funny name of "Peashooter".By the way, If I do say so myself, this was a well done extraction (Which I needed to do in order to change the background.) If you look really closely with a magnifying glass you might be able to see the little wire antenna that is underneath the plane just behind the wheel carriage
