Thanks Willigan. I'm really taken with the video camera actually. I am having more fun with it than the camera. I love filming people and watch how they become self conscious when they notice me filming them.

I had a brief look at some photos in my archives. There are so many that I haven't post processed, and it's amazing how many photos I've forgotten about.

Here's 10 for today. I think I have posted the first one before, but i gave it a different PP treatment. I'm really looking forward to my new D700 camera.

But the art to this isn't to get most of it, it is to get all of it or at least anything that is still physically encoded onto the drive. We covered techniques to retrieve and reassemble partial files that have been deleted. This is going way beyond stuff you can retrieve via an application.

You mean you didn't try at home first? If they wipe over it, you may not get 100% of what was on it, but if you had a look before you went you probably could have got most of it with simple software.

Haven't tried yet. We are still getting the theory and practice down. Covered how to retrieve deleted stuff today. I should be able to get something off of it. Even if they did take some steps to erase it
